The typing game with music - like Piano Tiles for your keyboard
Think monkeytype meets Piano Tiles. The lyrics are on screen, the song is playing, and a glowing caret shows where the singer is. Type each word as it’s sung - hit it on time for a perfect, chain them into combos, and don’t fall behind: the song won’t wait.
ways to play
- Full song - every line, start to finish.
- Hook - just the famous chorus, about 30 seconds. Great for quick rounds.
- Easy, medium, hard - the song plays at 0.75×, 0.9× or full speed.
- Practice tracks - built-in songs whose melody sings each syllable, so the beat is easy to hear.
what makes it different from other typing games
Most typing games race you against a timer. typetown races you against the music - you’re judged on when you type, not just how fast. It rewards rhythm, which makes it feel like a music game you play with your keyboard.
